My Work

LoopedIn

During my junior year at DePaul I was recruited onto DePaul's student-ran PR and advertising firm, LoopedIn. During my time at this group, we have worked with clients to further develop their brand through written copy such as press releases and media pitches, along with creative work such as drafts for social media posts and website audits. After my first quarter with LoopedIn, I was promoted to Creative Director where I hold the responsibility of leading a team of interns on the advertising team. Here, I create brand kits and campaign timelines to keep the team on track with the client and to make sure our graphics and concepts align with the client's brand.

Digital4Good

In the second semester of my freshman year at DePaul, I was brought onto the Digital4Good + ICanHelp video production intern as a seasonal intern. With my time on the team, I created professional quality videos marketing the non-profit's message of teaching kids how to safely use the internet. These videos were then used as advertisements for sponsors and other potential sponsors who donated and funded Digital4Good + ICanHelp's work. These organizations included; Google, The Aaron Judge Foundation, Verizon, and many others. Not only did I enhance my video editing skills and learned to schedule my time between working and a full time education, this internship directly correlated to my major of PR and Advertising by learning marketing techniques, and helped streghten my video editing skills which fall within my film production minor.

A year later during my sophomore year, I returned to Digital4Good as a content team lead. Not only did I have the same responsibilities as my previous role, but I also ran weekly meetings, checked in on interns reporting to me, and helped them create products and made sure they were held to the quality of the company.

Sigma Phi Epsilon

Currently serving as the Vice President of Communications for the Illinois Xi chapter of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. In my role, I not only develop SigEp as a brand and identity through promotional material on social media and with a SigEp newsletter,  but communicate with organizations on campus and in greek life to coordinate events. The posts on social media showcase events hosted by the fraternity and promotional material to recruit new members. During fall of my junior year, I was re-elected for the role to continue my streak of success and accomplishments as recognized by the executive board. As Vice President of Communications I also work as an admin on the SigEp website, where I update information regarding the fraternity when necessary.

A Kid Again

During the second semester of my senior year, I was presented with the opportunity to collaborate with the organiozation 'A Kid Again'. Founded with the intention of bringing support and awareness to children with debilitating illnesses and their families, 'A Kid Again' is a midwest based non-profit with a history of over 20 years. During my time with the group from January to April of 2023, I worked alongside their 'Students Creating Smiles' campaign team to help visualize a brand and create a video for their mission. In doing so, I not only gained experience in working with professionals, I also created a video with the intention to gain support and donations to 'A Kid Again' from schools across the country. For the video, I edited the images and footage of 'A Kid Again's' different reatreats and events, along with doing voice work and graphics for the final cut as well. The organization's 'Students Creating Smiles' campaign aims to garner K-12 and student-lead activism for 'A Kid Again' through volunteer-based events such as the ones displayed in the video.
